摘要: Elementary teachers educating both students with and without disabilities require access to effective, easily implemented classroom management techniques address challenging behaviors. One such intervention is a contingency contract. A review of literature suggests that contracts are for experiencing challenges academic social behaviors formally diagnosed in general special education settings. However, there was little consideration the significance behaviors, contract goals were not often set according comparison peers. The purpose current study examined effects on engagement three an elementary participants exhibiting high rates disengaged behavior during instruction. Contingency written function behavior, preference surveys, observation peers goals, reinforcement desired Using ABAB withdrawal design, duration frequency instances recorded. Experimental observed when participants’ increased engagements decreased while under results suggest can successfully be increase (engagement) classroom. Implications future research directions immediately follow discussion results.
