摘要: A new family of polyphenolic carbosilane dendrimers functionalized with ferulic, caffeic, and gallic acids has been obtained through a straightforward amidation reaction. Their antioxidant activity studied by different techniques such as DPPH (2,2'-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging assay, FRAP assay (ferric reducing power), cyclic voltammetry. The analysis showed that exhibited higher activities than free polyphenols in all cases. first-generation dendrimer decorated acid stood out the best compound, displaying correlation between number hydroxyl groups polyphenol structure compounds. Moreover, antibacterial capacity these systems screened against Gram-positive (+) Gram-negative (-) bacteria, we observed caffeic were capable decreasing bacterial growth. In contrast, ferulic no effect, establishing capacity. Finally, viability human skin fibroblasts cells (HFF-1) allowed for corroborating nontoxicity at their active concentration.
