摘要: Adult male Wistar rats were exposed to intermittent high altitude hypoxia of 7000 m simulated in a hypobaric chamber for 8 h/day, 5 days week; the total number exposures was 25. The concentration individual phospholipids and their fatty acid (FA) profile determined right (RV) left (LV) ventricles. Adaptation decreased diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG) hypertrophied RV by 19% non-hypertrophied LV 12% comparison with normoxic controls. Chronically hypoxic hearts exhibited lower phospholipid n-6 polyunsaturated FA (PUFA) content mainly due linoleic (18:2n-6), which opposed increased n-3 PUFA docosahexaenoic (22:6n-3) phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) phosphatidylinositol (PI). arachidonic (20:4n-6) unchanged phospholipids, but PC it both ventricles (by 22%) PE only 20%). Chronic un-saturation index monounsaturated (MUFA) 18:2n-6 DPG. proportion saturated PI not LV. composition phosphatidylserine altered It is concluded that chronic led minor changes rat ventricular myocardium, markedly profile. These changes, particular greater incorporation into index, may lead better preservation membrane integrity thereby contribute improved ischemic tolerance chronically hearts.
