摘要: Glaucoma is a leading cause of blindness worldwide. Normal-tension glaucoma (NTG) type open-angle with intraocular pressure measurements always 21 mm Hg or less. A controversy surrounding NTG the question whether it should be regarded as disease within spectrum primary distinctive entity. Nonetheless, does have features compared glaucoma: pressure-independent risk factors for development NTG, characteristic patterns structural and functional damage, unique course. This review provides an overview update on current issues prevalence, etiology, diagnosis, monitoring NTG.
