摘要: Success is possible with partial foot amputations even in the diabetic patient population. Many diabetics who past would have undergone a major lower extremity amputation now successful reconstruction of their complex wounds. Even though this article presents levels and methods closure for soft tissue defects sequential manner, many instances, different are used aspects same defect (i.e., TMA may require fillet toe, STSG, TAL closure). Familiarity principles advocated importance each member multispecialty team involved help to ensure that good outcomes immediate postoperative period long-term recovery achieved.
