摘要: 670 tubal sterilizations performed at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas Texas from 1946-1956 were reviewed to determine possible gynecological complaints resulting the operation. The average age of patient was 31 and parity 6. 3.3% operations failures. Menorrhagia occurred 9.5% patients. 4.3% experienced pelvic pain subsequent 10% underwent sterilization. It is concluded that sterilization operation did not contribute significantly dysfunction it a relatively safe adequate procedure. routine use hysterectomy accomplish considered unwarranted.
