摘要: Abstract Sedimentary organic matter and pyrite from parts of the lower Transvaal Supergroup few samples Olifantshoek Group have been studied for their carbon sulfur isotopic compositions, respectively. Carbon compositions minimally altered range −43 to −31‰. Sulfur isotope values sedimentary display between −1.3 +23.6‰. Results this previously published work are being interpreted with respect past biochemical pathways. data indicate autotrophic fixation as process primary production. In addition, products secondary biological reworking contributed total content. bacterial sulfate reduction main process. However, changes in availability and/or rate may caused observed compositions.
