摘要: Propranolol is widely employed in hemodialysis patients for the control of renin-dependent hypertension. Infrequent reports have linked hypoglycemia and propranolol, especially complex situations such as malnutrition, anesthesia, excessive insulin use. Three on maintenance taking propranolol developed severe resulting cardiac arrest. The life-threatening occurred without apparent precipitating cause unaccompanied by classical signs symptoms hypoglycemia. These three cases suggest that a setting chronic renal failure dialysis may bring about hypoglycemia, complication previously unsuspected.
