摘要: The authors have studied the structural modifications that occur during electrochemical insertion of lithium into spinel compound In{sub 16}Fe{sub 8}S{sub 32}. Studies by X-ray diffraction (Rietveld analysis) and Moessbauer spectroscopy lithiated products indicate some cation migration takes place process. spectra show no reduction Fe{sup 2+} insertion. variation isomer shift indicates an increase in covalency network. results absorption experiments absence a clear In{sup 3+} incorporation incoming electrons delocalized band structure. Analysis discharge curve shows presence two different domains. For first one there is small interaction between inserted ions. second repulsive decrease diffusion coefficient.
