摘要: Present study was performed to inhibit alkaline phosphatases (ALPases) present in snake venom Naja naja karachiensis by 28 medicinal plants of Pakistan. 2.87 U/mg, 4.75 6.70 U/mg and 8.6 phosphatase activity were estimated for 0.2 mg, 0.4 0.6 mg 0.8 crude respectively dose dependent manner. All extract (625 ng 2.5µg) found (80% 93%) (0.4 mg) ALPases. Standard antidote pose 93% hindrance at 2.5 µg/ml while EDTA (specific metalloenzyme inhibitor) observed 91% effective. Extract Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn declared the best anti-venom as reference standard however, isolation identification bioactive constituent(s) is necessary complete treatment bite envenomation.
