摘要: Abstract The CdSe and Fe doped (Fe:CdSe) thin films have been electrodeposited potentiostatically onto the stainless steel fluorine tin oxide (FTO) glass substrates, from ethylene glycol bath containing (CH 3 COO) 2 ·Cd·2H O, SeO , FeCl at room temperature. doping concentration of is optimized by using (photo) electrochemical (PEC) characterization technique. deposition mechanism incorporation are studied cyclic voltammetry. structural, surface morphological optical properties deposited Fe:CdSe X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) absorption techniques respectively. PEC study shows that more photosensitive than undoped films. diffraction analysis polycrystalline with hexagonal crystal structure. SEM studies reveal uniformly distributed grains over entire substrate. complete morphology has changed after doping. Optical presence direct transition a considerable decrease in bandgap, E g 1.95 to 1.65 eV.
