摘要: This article describes the development of a measure proposing multifactor structure positive identity for self-identified transgender individuals. Data from 138 transgender-identified individuals were used in an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) 95 statements item pool presented online survey. The resulting suggests 5-factor solution with subscales interpreted as representing authenticity, intimacy and relationships, belonging to LGBT community, commitment social justice compassion, insights self-awareness. An EFA reduced scale indicated good fit 24-item, strong internal consistency each set subscale scores. final proposed is titled Transgender Positive Identity Measure (T-PIM). current study that factors are consistent thematic analyses prior qualitative research concepts represented lesbian, gay, bisexual identities.
