摘要: Abstract We report construction of an initial genetic linkage map for the black tiger shrimp, Penaeus monodon. Mapping was carried out using polymorphic markers derived from 23 Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) primer pairs. These were analysed on three reference families known pedigree. A total 673 AFLP loci that conformed to expected Mendelian segregation ratios scored in families, and these used construct separate male female maps each family. consisted a segregating fragment same size, amplified with pair two or more considered be common markers. 116 such across families. This has 20 groups covering distance 1412 cM. Future directions mapping P. monodon are discussed light data.
