摘要: The oscillator strength of the u.v. resonance line Hg(I) (λ=1850 A) has been measured by observing absorption this in an atomic beam whose density was determined directly. Experimental Fabry-Perot profiles are compared with calculated obtained convolution actual signals and apparatus functions. absolute f-value 1P1−1S0 transition is found to be ƒ=1·15±0·11. 1.
