摘要: Abstract The beam-foil technique has been used to measure mean lives of excited levels in neutral and singly ionized zinc, cadmium, mercury. In the atoms, lifetimes measured were good agreement with those obtained by Hanle-effect phase-shift techniques, but discrepancies found some life-times delayed-coincidence method. For zinc six have measured, while seven species, systematic trends show that results recently method may be error. reported converted ; values for transitions which reliable multiplet intensity ratios are available. value systematics same type spectral transition, identical within homologous atoms.
