摘要: The control of house flies, Musca domestica (L.), currently relies on the use chemical insecticide spray and bait formulations. Entomopathogenic fungi, such as Metarhizium anisopliae, may provide an alternative to these products. This study aimed develop evaluate a mycoinsecticide formulation containing virulent M. anisopliae isolate. Five isolates were screened against isolate M16 was selected for development. Bait formulations variety additives, including (Z)-9-tricosene, tested their ability increase fly visitation. A skim milk powder found have highest visitation subsequently compared conventional in efficacy assay. (0.5% imidacloprid) caused faster mortality than bait, however, similar levels achieved by 4–5 days’ post exposure. These results suggest that baits offer insecticides flies suitable areas.
