Biogenic synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles using Agrewia optiva and Prunus persica phyto species: Characterization, antibacterial and antioxidant activity

摘要: A phytoextract mediated synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles using Agrewia optiva (Dhaman or Biul) and Prunus persica (Peach) leaf extract as capping stabilizing agent without hazardous toxic chemicals via biogenic route has been studied. The method is convenient, rapid, cost effective ecofriendly. green synthesized were characterized by Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared Attenuated total reflectance X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive transmission microscopy dynamic light scattering measurements. antibacterial study was determined agar well diffusion to measure the efficiency both phyto species its against five gram positive bacterial stains such Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), Streptococcus mutans mutans), pyrogenes pyrogenes), Corynebacterium diphtheriae (C. diphtheriae) xerosis xerosis) three negative Escherichia coli (E. coli), Klebsiella pneuomoniae (K. pneuomoniae) Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa). antibiotic Ciprofloxacin Gentamicin have used reference standard drugs for stains, respectively. antioxidant activity extracts prepared performed 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical assay employing l-ascorbic acid a standard.
