摘要: We examine the influence of parametric noise on spatiotemporal behavior a bistable medium with activator–inhibitor dynamics. Deterministic front propagation in one dimension is seen to be destabilized by external noise, resulting solitary pulses through system. For large enough levels, this state becomes unstable via backfiring mechanism, which eventually leads turbulent state.
