摘要: We report on a fibered high-resolution scanning surface plasmon microscope for long term imaging of living adherent cells. The coupling high numerical aperture objective lens and heterodyne interferometer enhances both the sensitivity stability this microscope, allowing time-lapse recording over several days. diffraction limit is reached with radially polarized illumination beam. Adherence motility C2C12 myoblast cells are followed 50 h, revealing that dynamics these change after 10 h. This enhanced evanescent wave microscopy particularly suited investigating cell adhesion, since it can not only be performed without staining sample but also capture in real time exchange extracellular matrix elements between substrate
