摘要: The use of DNA sequences comprising a glucanase coding region operably linked to promoter, or other regulatory sequence, which provides for expression the sequence with appropriate tissue and/or temporal specificity, in preparation male sterile transgenic tomato plant is disclosed. In preferred embodiments promoter tapetum specific e.g. an A3 A9 promoter. PR-Glucanase and preferably are also described, as plants, cells, propagating material, seeds, antisense ribozyme encoding restoration fertility.
