摘要: A system and method for idle processor management in virtualized systems are disclosed. In accordance with one embodiment, a guest operating (OS) of virtual machine estimates an time central processing unit (CPU) the machine, where is executed by CPU host computer system, mapped to CPU. The OS also latency based on at least of: first power state CPU, context switch associated execution or hypervisor When divided performance multiplier exceeds time, caused halt.
