摘要: The use of ultraviolet light in photoreactors for wastewater treatment has become popular as an alternative known chemical oxidative substances. UV LED represents cheaper, robust, and versatile to traditional lamps. In this study, it was designed evaluated a photoreactor with approach fluid dynamics (CFD) experimental validation. evaluation consisted (1) CFD velocity profile analysis, (2) characterization the average distribution potassium ferrioxalate actinometry, (3) degradation typical recalcitrant metallic cyanocomplex Fe(CN)63−, (4) scavenger effect analysis photodegradation using persulfate. Actinometrical essay concluded that system able receive 1.93 μE/s. reactor operated under turbulent regime best result Fe(CN)63− obtained at 4 h operation, 5-W UV-A LEDs, pH ~ 7 10 mM de S2O82−. Baffled demonstrated be useful type illumination treatment.
