摘要: Effects of ultraviolet irradiation on yeast cells (Candida utilis) have been studied by photomicrography and biochemical analysis ultraviolet-absorbing cellular constituents. The results these techniques correlated. Much larger doses are required to produce morphological changes altered membrane permeability than stop the ability form colonies. Morphological consist in enlargement vacuole, followed a decline cell size, and, eventually, coagulation protein. vacuolar loses its selective same fashion as membrane; constituents released into cytoplasm thence surrounding medium along with cytoplasmic effect is not immediate; after sufficient dose, some time for completion release medium. There appears be no specificity types compounds released, because at 25 gas- cooled C essentially all material absorbing 260 m lost if exposure has high enough. (auth)
