摘要: Recent developments in thermal ablation and perfusion hyperthermia have expanded the treatment options of patients with certain cancers. Initially was applied to liver tumor; later its application has been extended focal malignancies confined other organs such as: breast, kidney, adrenal glands, pancreas, bone, lung. Metastases localized organs, as liver, lung, pleura are a common event. The inoperable tumors (primary or metastatic) generally treated by systemic chemotherapy; however toxicity is very high. Some clinicians developed regional therapies reduce this toxicity. Perfusional therapy permits higher concentration antineoplastic agents tumor target. Furthermore combination appropriate demonstrated enhancement single reduction Lung, hyperthermia, will briefly be described here. This review not exhaustive; purpose illustrate applications that we hope become routine cancer near future.
