摘要: Abstract Computerized tomography (CT), ultrasound, and angiography have been used for staging renal cell carcinoma. CT has proven to be the most reliable sensitive of these techniques. Magnetic resonance (MR) emerged recently as a viable alternative imaging modality. Five patients with carcinoma suspected Caval involvement were evaluated by CT, MR. extension differentiation intra- versus retrocaval tumor was seen greater clarity on MR scans; perinephric equally well both modalities. The primary itself better defined CT. In equivocal findings regarding veins or inferior vena cava, is valuable adjunct in preoperative evaluation. at high risk contrast administration, modality choice.
