摘要: Insecticide resistance in the lesser mealworm, Alphitobius diaperinus (Panzer) (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae), can pose a serious threat to their successful management broiler chicken farms Arkansas. Resistance and cross-resistance were determined mealworm populations collected from two Arkansas, with different insecticide application histories. Farm M was treated insecticides over past 10 yr, whereas S had no insecticidal usage history. Concentration-mortality bioassays using selected conducted on adults seventh-instar larval beetles. A probit analysis suggested population be resistant cyfluthrin tetrachlorvinphos, while susceptible both compounds. The showed imidacloprid, spinosad, or chlorfenapyr. similar susceptibility suitability of imidacloprid further testing chlorfenapyr as potential candidate for control is discussed.
