摘要: Abstract Coal Bottom Ash (CBA) is one of the widely-produced residues coal incineration in thermal power plants. The annual extraction such a huge amount waste needs massive transfer field, which constitutes threat to environment. However, utilization residue as fine aggregate concrete can be an environmentally-friendly opportunity. Hence, main purpose this paper evaluate microstructure and mechanical properties usage BA replacement mortar mixtures. It observed that has reactive fraction with pozzolanic characteristics. This provides stronger when medium volume material (up 40%) substituted. In addition, CBA based mixture classified lightweight concrete. compressive strength value specimen using 40% at 56 days was 55 MPa, reached same limit control mixture.
