摘要: Laser surface alloying has been used as a tool to produce hard and corrosion resistant Al-transition metal (TM) alloys. Cr Mo are particularly interesting elements stable highstrength alloys because they present low diffusion coefficients solid solubility in Al. To Al-TM two-step laser process was developed: firstly, the material is alloyed using scanning speed secondly, microstructure modified by refinement step. This production of Al-Cr, Al-Mo Al-Nb Cr, or Nb powder into an Al 7175 alloy substrate CO 2 laser. paper presents review work that developed at Instituto Superior Tecnico on alloys, over last years.
