摘要: A hydrophobic front surface in Janus catalytic motors could introduce two effects to the motion kinetics: a partially slippery and change reaction rate. Experimentally, have been observed move appreciably faster than hydrophilic ones for large size with high fuel concentrations. Numerical investigation experimental data reveal that has an insignificant effect on motor kinetics compared enhanced rate, which result from water depletion layer around strong interaction between generated O2 surface.
