Patient Falls in Stroke Rehabilitation: A Challenge to Rehabilitation Strategies

摘要: Background and Purpose The risk of falls is very high among stroke patients, falling a major complication in rehabilitation. This study aimed to investigate the incidence, characteristics, consequences an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Methods One hundred sixty-one patients consecutively admitted geriatric unit were studied. Falls that occurred during their stay prospectively registered analyzed.
