Herbicide Resistance in Jointed Goatgrass (Aegilops cylindrica): Simulated Responses to Agronomic Practices1

摘要: A population model was constructed to simulate the development of imazamox-resistant jointed goatgrass (AEGCY) in (Clearfield™) wheat. The computed changes surface and buried AEGCY seed banks for both resistant susceptible biotypes. Simulations started with an initial density 1,000 zero seeds/m2 each bank. Simulation continuous, no-till Clearfield wheat production resulted rapid without hybridization extremely resistance hybridization. In less than 10 yr, growing exponentially simulations. Adding a fallow year tillage into simulated rotation did not substantially slow down appearance but delay rate increase by several orders magnitude over yr.
