摘要: CD43 is the major sialoglycoprotein found on surface of cells hemopoietic origin. Because a typical member mucins, molecules that play relevant role in tumor progression, we have addressed expression nonhematopoietic cells. For this purpose, tested broad panel anti-CD43 antibodies tumors different embryonic origins. Of 17 mAbs used, 9 reacted with leukocytes paraffin-fixed formalin-embedded lymph node tissues. Two mAbs, BS1 and L10, stained 24 out 31 (78%) nonhematopietic analyzed; i.e. , some were positive for both anti-bodies, others either L10 or BS1. We also reactivity these two 13 20 metastases studied.
