摘要: Abstract Objective To evaluate the efficacy of administering a low dose propofol at end surgery in preventing postoperative nausea/vomiting women undergoing gynecologic laparoscopic surgery. Method In randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 90 patients received intravenous injections placebo or 2 different doses, 0.25 mg/kg 0.5 mg/kg. All episodes nausea, retching, vomiting were then recorded for 24 hours. Results The percentages experiencing 67% group, 60% group (P = 0.39), and 33% 0.5 mg/kg (P = 0.009). A significant difference rates was found between groups (P = 0.03). No adverse events attributed to study drug observed. Conclusion Prophylactic therapy with be effective
