摘要: The kinetics of oxidation, the composition oxide scales, and morphology scales were markedly affected by recrystallization iron substrate at 500°C. There was little difference in behavior over temperature range 600 to 900°C. Whiskers Fe2O3formed on outer surface during oxidation 800 900δC, orientation whiskers being either [001] or [110]⊥surface, depending upon batch iron. Different batches from same supplier exhibited variable which has been attributed variations thermal stability crystal texture substrates.
