摘要: Micron-size blades of hematite (α-Fe2O3) are observed to grow out the oxidized surface iron at high temperatures. The characteristics these described in literature. be twinned such that plane blade is parallel (01−11) twin (K1), axis [−2110], and direction shear (η1) [0−112]. In addition, there a hollow tunnel up each blade. It suggested by diffusion cations from underlying magnetite through tunnels tips; some lateral growth occurs planes. eventually become blocked mature blades, forming string elongated voids, further ceases.
