摘要: Abstract Two earthquakes occurred on January, 26 and February, 3 2014 of Mw 6.1 6.0, respectively, onshore the island Cephalonia, Greece. The environmental effects e.g. rockfalls, liquefaction ground cracks triggered by events were widespread at western part mainly in peninsula Paliki. most remarkable characteristics these two generation strong motion, highest ever recorded Greece recurrent phenomena waterfront areas Lixouri Argostoli. In addition, grain size distribution curves soil samples collected along seafront area indicated a sandy ejecta are plotted range possibility defined Tsuchida (1971). By taking into account data provided three post-earthquake field trips that took place immediately after first second earthquake, information geotechnical boreholes drilled shoreline Lixouri, quantitative description liquefaction-induced deformations preliminary failure mode structures presented this study. As an outcome, post-liquefaction induced settlement ≈ 16 cm sites was computed.
