摘要: Background Carriers for a mutation in BRCA1/2 genes have high, lifelong risk developing breast cancer. Preventive mastectomy is considered an effective reduction surgery. Many factors might affect the decision to undergo preventive mastectomy, including culture, perceived body image after and important others opinion. Objective The aim of this study evaluate BRCA carriers' relationship between gender, image, decision. Methods was cross-sectional design where Arab Jewish men women were requested imagine that they were/their spouse carrier. sample consisted 200 participants, 101 99 Jews, included men.
