摘要: Women with BRCA mutations are inundated decisions about managing cancer risks and childbearing considerations. Decisions become more complicated when women face disclosing their mutation risk-reduction options to a romantic partner. This study identifies the concerns perspectives of male partners regarding these unique decisions. Twenty-five participants completed an online survey posted support group message boards. Participants reported relationship changes intimacy levels (n = 9), attraction 2), communication 22) after disclosure. whose had not undergone prophylactic mastectomy 14) sexual relations 5), post-surgical appearance health/lifespan 9). did express attitude toward childbearing.
