摘要: Purpose/objectives To explore the experiences of young, single women who are at increased risk for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) because a BRCA mutation. Research approach Qualitative. Setting Seven states Canada. Participants 11 aged 18-35 years tested positive Methodologic Grounded theory with in-depth individual interviews conducted via e-mail or telephone. Findings Analysis resulted in three conditions consequences. Conditions were dating not dating, time relationship, physical impact surgery treatment.
