Small world and information grounds as contexts of information seeking and sharing

摘要: This study compares and contrasts small world information grounds as contexts of everyday seeking sharing. More specifically, the focus is on spatial social factors constitutive grounds. To this end, main works written by Elfreda A. Chatman Karen E. Fisher their associates are scrutinized means an in-depth review literature studies Both approaches primarily discuss in terms physical places. The construct places more emphasis constraints, while thematizes open arenas. As to factors, focuses normative constraints grounds, contrast, emphasizes co-presence other people opportunity serendipitous sharing information. Although thematize contextual differently, constructs may also be seen complementary.
