摘要: [1] The influence of the cloud representation in global climate models on accuracy North Atlantic tropical cyclone simulations is investigated. The activity simulated with a standard model, CCSM. conventional parameterization processes CCSM replaced by “super-parameterization” and simulation run again. comparison statistics reveals that model explicit produces larger number events, stronger intensity longer life-cycle. results show clouds have significant impact mechanisms associated such as surface temperature ocean subsurface processes, vertical wind shear, transport moisture lower troposphere.
