摘要: Abstract The commissural projection to the displaced granule cells of dentate gyrus in Reeler mutant mice has been examined with autoradiography, and light electron microscopy. Commissural terminals are confined hilar region, contrast normal littermates which this is restricted inner part molecular layer. Granule cell somata Reeler, but only exceptionally littermates, invested spines, have postsynaptic specializations, no spine apparatus, contacted by presynaptic terminals. Between 20 30 h after destruction fibres degenerating can be found contacting both somatic dendritic spines hilus; decommissuration number length on proximal dendrites Golgi impregnated greatly reduced, while distal parts tree unaffected. A similar pattern degeneration decomissuration layer littermates. These results discussed terms factors controlling development afferent projections. paper concludes an analysis a potential methodological hazard. change mean will itself result visible material. quantitative assessment relation between developed for spherical bodies cylindrical dendrites.
