摘要: The lifetime of the ground triplet state vibrationally excited C60 has been determined in a two-color pump–probe experiment. An intense pump pulse (337 nm, 4 ns) was used to excite neutral molecules. probed via single photon ionization with weak probe (193 nm). found be on order 1 μs. This is rather low explain recent delayed results but higher than expected from an extrapolation earlier measurements at lower temperatures.
