摘要: Abstract Hydrothermal petroleums from the Guaymas Basin spreading center have been analyzed for their polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) content. The PAH concentrations compared to those in crude oils production reservoirs and coastal sediments. contain higher relative of unsubstituted than oils. However, hydrothermal are influenced by differing thermal, mixing post-depositional alteration processes, resulting considerable variability. Concentrations mounds/sediments comparable sediments highly polluted industrial areas. presence large toxic carcinogenic these could toxicological effects on benthic ecosystems such vent environments.
