摘要: Publisher Summary Genomic mutation rates are a composite of number processes, including enzymatic polymerization, proofreading, and mismatch repair. This chapter discusses two important aspects DNA RNA the fidelity polymerases supply nucleotide triphosphate substrates by intracellular microenvironment. The structure regulation dNTP pools, polymerase fidelity, ways to measure it also described in chapter. then summarizes available data on viral hypermutation underlying mechanisms with its potential implication for genome evolution. manipulation hypermutagenesis which might have an impact future antimicrobial therapies. highlights intimate relationship between environment thus may link evolution spontaneous hereditary disease.
