摘要: Abstract Solar drying is considered to be a useful solar energy technology for developing counties. In this work, the performance of large-scale greenhouse type dryer chilli was investigated. The has parabolic shape and it covered with polycarbonate sheets. base concrete floor an area 8×20 m2. Nine DC fans powered by three 50 W cell modules were used ventilate dryer. installed at Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Three batches dried in It found that five hundred kilograms initial moisture content 74% (wb) within 3 days while natural sun needed 5 days. completely protected from insects, animals rain. addition, good quality obtained.
