摘要: Ion beam techniques (Rutherford backscattering (RBS) with and without the channeling effect technique, resonance scattering on 16O high energy He-beams, elastic recoil detection analysis (ERDA), SIMS nuclear reactions such as H(15N, αγ)12C for H detection, etc.) have been used extensively successfully in past years to investigate surfaces surface-near layers of materials importance energy. These include fuels UO2 UN, tailor-made borosilicate glasses special ceramics (e.g. SYNROC) solidification safe long-term storage level radioactive waste. In this latter area, ion significantly improved understanding mechanisms kinetics corrosion water. also applied introduce foreign atoms modify these materials, additional were subsequently analyse surface changes modifications. This article presents a review largely unpublished activities points out some important progress achieved recently, e.g. mechanism polygonization UO2.
