摘要: The rationale for treating liver tumours by arterial obstruction is based on the derivation of nutrition from hepatic artery. Segall showed already in 1923 that metastases humans obtain most blood supply artery [1]. Later studies Breedis and Young [2] 80–100% human tumour circulation derived studying autopsy specimens patients with various dye techniques. Similar findings have been described experimental [3–4]. predominant has verified but around periphery a zone tissue portal could be found. It also smaller (<30mg) are fed both vein while larger supply. recently reported postmortem examination man [5].
