摘要: Representative results using loop-gap resonator (LGR) configurations for local high-resolution MR imaging (0.6 mm X 0.6 pixel size with 3-mm section thickness) are presented. Four geometries were employed: flat single loops, coplanar (planar pair) coaxial (axial and symmetrically angled (butterfly loops. The LGRs used as receiver coils the body coil transmitter. Butterfly pairs planar intrinsically decoupled from a transmitted field of arbitrary orientation, whereas loops axial that is linearly polarized orthogonal to its axis. evaluated computer-generated experimentally determined distributions by human subjects on 1.5-T system. Matching region sensitivity anatomic interest emphasized.
