Dynamic MR imaging of the temporomandibular joint and the related structures using 0.5 T unit: The normal study

摘要: Gradient-field-echo technique was employed to evaluate the movement of temporomandibular joint meniscus and related structures combined with opening mouth for asymptomatic TM joints in use a 0.5 T super-conductive MR system. The examination phase took less than one minute. clearly presented especially by using cine-mode display. signal intensity retro-meniscus lateral pterygoid muscle increased opening. These findings indicate that dynamic imaging may be promising diagnosing not only shape but also function joint.
